THE MODERN GUITARIST
An inspiring look behind the scenes of a professional guitarist’s life: from the initial idea through sound and songwriting to the finished song—supplemented by experiences as a professional live sound engineer from over 2,000 live concerts and the day-to-day life of a modern musician.
Edis Mano is one of the most distinctive and talented guitarists on the Swiss rock and blues scene!
His playing combines technical finesse with extraordinary expression, an unmistakable vibrato, and a deep passion for the classic vintage guitar sound. Influenced by the great guitarists of the ’60s and ’70s, he always prioritizes the song and emotion over pure virtuosity. As the leader of the Ellis Mano Band, he has developed a distinctive style that blends authentic guitar sounds with modern songwriting. Musical highlights include a tour of Germany as the opening act for Deep Purple, as well as concerts opening for Robert Cray, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, and Chris Buck / Cardinal Black. In addition to his work as a musician, Edis Mano has been working for many years as a professional live sound engineer and brings with him experience from over 2,000 mixed concerts.
Edis Mano will perform the subsequent EXCLUSIVE LIVE SESSION at 12:30 p.m. together with Chris Ellis, the charismatic lead singer of the Ellis Mano Band.
