Following the workshop, Chris Ellis and Edis Mano will perform selected songs by the Ellis Mano Band live.
The audience will experience firsthand how the topics covered earlier in the workshop—sound, songwriting, dynamics, arrangement, and musical personality—come to life in a concert.
A one-of-a-kind musical extravaganza!
Edis Mano is one of the most distinctive guitarists on the Swiss rock and blues scene. His playing combines technical finesse with extraordinary expression, an unmistakable vibrato, and a deep passion for the classic vintage guitar sound. Influenced by the great guitarists of the ’60s and ’70s, he always prioritizes the song and emotion over pure virtuosity. As the leader of the Ellis Mano Band, he has developed a distinctive style that blends authentic guitar sounds with modern songwriting. Musical highlights include a tour of Germany as the opening act for Deep Purple, as well as concerts opening for Robert Cray, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, and Chris Buck / Cardinal Black. In addition to his work as a musician, Edis Mano has been working as a professional live sound engineer for many years and brings with him the experience gained from over 2,000 mixed concerts.
Chris Ellis is a singer, songwriter, and co-founder of the Ellis Mano Band. His powerful, expressive voice blends rock, blues, and soul, playing a key role in shaping the band’s distinctive sound. Thanks to his many years of experience on stage and in the studio, as well as numerous appearances on Swiss and German television, radio, and at major open-air venues, he is considered one of the most seasoned vocalists on the Swiss music scene.
