Workshop with Swiss guitar legend Jean-Pierre
Von Dach:
Four decades as a sideman, stories and music from my treasure chest
- Musical stuff, the way I do it
- Impossible, weird, funny, absurd, and beautiful stories from 40 years — I've seen quite a lot!

Jean-Pierre Von Dach is one of Switzerland's best guitarists, but his name is always only mentioned in the small print.
Guitarist, songwriter, and producer JP Von Dach not only lives for music, he is music itself. A man of tremendous sensitivity, he spends most of his days and nights honing songs and ideas and has been the creative center of the Swiss band Gigi Moto for years.
As a guitarist for countless Swiss acts, including Sina, Seven, Adi Stern, Pippo Pollina, Baschi, and international stars such as Joss Stone and Konstantin Wecker, he has seen every possible and impossible stage over the last thirty years, playing for two or ten thousand people, always with all his heart. “While my guitar gently weeps...”
Von Dach has already contributed to hundreds of albums, either as a musician or producer.
When he's not strumming his guitar, you'll find him lying by a lake or cooking for friends over a barbecue.
